THI President Professor Walter Schober and Professor Michael Braun, Rector, and CEO of the German University of Technology (GU Tech) in Muscat, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the future. The subject of the MoU is the cooperation between THI and GU Tech in the field of hydrogen.
THI currently offers a Master's program in "Hydrogen Technology and Economics" at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The "Renewable Energies and Hydrogen Technology" continuing education program can be completed part-time at the Campus for Continuing Education. Both courses are led by hydrogen expert Professor Sergej Diel.
The MoU is about the exchange of lecturers and students as well as cooperation in research. THI President Professor Walter Schober was delighted with the MoU: "As a hydrogen-producing country, Oman is a very exciting cooperation partner here. We need to have a broad international network."
