Logistics


In the major logistics, the students get to konw the current state of logistics in the field of information flow. Besides learning the basics of logistic strategies as well as material- and information flow, the students deepen their knowledge in the field of product organisation.

The lectures are structured in three mandatory modules with four semester hours each and two mandatory electives. 

Occupational Image and Chances on the Job Market

Potential job roles for graduates are in the departments or operational areas of planning, procurement, production, distribution and redistribution. A job as procurement manager, warehouse manager, fleet manager or logistics manager are further options for graduates. Job opportunities can be found in the area of automotives, mechanical engineering, processing industry, retail or in the service industry.

The potential for success of efficient logistics is increasingly recognized and opens up an interesting entry into the operational production of goods and services for qualified graduates. The development requires a continuously increasing demand of well trained logisticians. Qualified logisticians are given a broad spectrum of personal advancement in combination with good promotion chances.
