In the competency field private law, the students get to know the relevant managerial aspects of private law. The students learn which legal determining factors are in existence and which scope for design can be chosen to achieve managerial goals. First of all, the basic knowledge is being conditioned and afterwards conveyed using case studies. Application possibilities are shown by means of practical examples.

After attending the lectures, students should

• have a deepend knowledge in relevant questions of private law that are of importance for busines economists
• be able to handle bascis of civil law and labour law
• be sensitised regarding legal risks in the economic scope of duties
• be informed basically about the occupational field of lawyers and solicitors
