On Your Way to Ingolstadt: First-Class Service for International Students

Ingolstadt University enjoys a good reputation among students of its partner universities from all over the world. A steadily increasing number of international students come to Ingolstadt either for one semester or for a complete course of study. The international degree programmes “International Retail Management” and “International Automotive Engineering”, as well as the other programmes offering more and more courses in English are some of the reasons for studying in Ingolstadt.
The International Office provides an all-round service to help you with all necessary prearrangements for the organization of your study and everyday life in Ingolstadt. Permanent assistance of our exchange students is one of the goals of Ingolstadt University and a major responsibility of the International Office. Our orientation programme begins one week before start of semester. Our services range from supporting you to comply with all formalities through to various social activities that will help you meet your German and international fellows and get familiar with the city of Ingolstadt. A guided tour through the university will give you insight into the diversity of our service facilities.
During the semester, international students meet their student advisors and other students once a week for the "International Stammtisch". Together we organize many outdoor activities and various trips to neighbouring cities like Munich, Regensburg and Nuremberg.
On our web pages you will find all the information you need for your stay in Ingolstadt. The team of the International Office will be glad to answer any further questions that might occur.
