The CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY RESEARCH at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences is a platform for applied research in the field of renewable energy technology. Two main purposes of the CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE are practice-oriented student education as well as carrying out applied research projects in the sphere of renewable energies.

The CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY RESEARCH is well-represented in many national and international research networks like “Solar Heating and Cooling Programme” of the International Energy Agency. At the same time researchers of the CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE participate in numerous scientific bodies and councils.
