The Ingolstadt University has been offering executive education master degree programs since 2004. In 2008, the Institute for Executive Education (IAW) was founded to combine these skills.

The introduction of the Bologna process changes the landscape of education, especially in the field of executive education. A bachelor's degree should qualify for the start in the profession, but not represent the end of the individual development process. To educate themselves after the first phase in the profession on a scientific level and on the basis of the acquired practical experience, is the aim of the part-time master programs.
Specialties:
Temporal scope: The amount is adjusted to the needs of workers and are usually distributed on fridays and saturday and block-weeks.
Small groups:
The efficacy of study is increased by small groups of participants.
High practical relevance:
The acquired knowledge is not queried by exams, but is applicable in practice-oriented form of studies, group and project work.
Highly qualified teachers:
Professors and lecturers come from practice. With their experience and expertise they help participants in developing their skills.
